- You need 1 lb of cooked, drained and crumbled breakfast sausage.
- Prepare 1 Cup of Bisquick.
- Prepare 4 of eggs.
- You need 1 Cup of Cheese.
The packaged baking mix in the recipe is a huge time saver. Put the mince, sausage meat, egg yolk, chopped onion and salt and pepper (if liked) into a bowl and mix together well. Flatten them slightly so they are the size of the muffin. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, porridge oats, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, salt, garlic granules and onion powder.

- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix all ingredients and spoon into muffin tin that has been sprayed with non stick spray..
- Bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown. I got 9 muffins out of this mixture but it will depend on the size of your tin..
- I drizzled syrup over mine and also tried it with strawberry jam. Delicious!.
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted margarine, liquid egg and buttermilk. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and mix until just blended. Stir in the sausage and Parmesan cheese. Spray muffin pan(s) with cooking spray. Crumble sausage meat, add bacon, mushrooms & seasonings into a large frying pan, cook well.
