Beetroot Hummus Breakfast Toast instructions

  1. Wash, peel and cut beetroot roughly..
  2. With little water grind the beetroot pieces to make a thin paste..
  3. Place the grinded beetroot to a pan and bring to heat..
  4. Cook in medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil..
  5. Remove from heat and set aside to cool..
  6. Cook washed and soaked chickpeas with sufficient water and little salt until the chickpeas becomes very soft..
  7. Drain to a straier and place the drained chickpeas to a food processor/grinder..
  8. Add in garlic cloves, sesame seed paste, cumin seeds, chilli flakes and salt..
  9. Also pour the cooked beetroot mixture..
  10. Add in chickpea water as necessary to grind the mixture and grind to make a thick paste..
  11. Also add in olive oil in the middle of the grinding process..
  12. Beautiful beetroot hummus is ready now.Transfer to a bowl..
  13. These are the topping which I am using to my toasts. You can add in as you like..
  14. Toast some brown bread as per your desired level..
  15. Spread prepared beetroot hummus to one side of the toasts. Be generous while spreading hummus..
